2022 has been a year of adjusting to the constantly moving Real Estate Market. Gone, for now are the days of listing a home on a Thursday and then meeting with the sellers Sunday at 5:00 pm to count the number of offers and choose the best one. I am a Transitions Specialist with Keller Williams Realty. I will guide you through the difficult process of making a move. Seniors today face the same choices people have had to face when considering downsizing, remodeling or moving into a Senior Community. Health and lifestyle place significant weight on making these decision. Do you need medical care? Do you like to be around people that share your same interest or do you want your privacy. Choosing a REALTOR® to help guide you through these very difficult choices is important. Make sure you choose a REALTOR that is experienced and knowledgeable.
I am your SRES®, SENIORS REAL ESTATE SPECIALIST. Questions need to be asked. Is this an interim or transitional move? How does this purchase fit into future plans? Is it a second home that may become a primary home in the future? A transition home to be sold at retirement? How do you feel about making this move? What are the top 10 things you want, or never want, in a home? Are there special needs or property features to consider? Will the neighborhood meet your needs for transportation, grocery delivery, meals, and medical? Do you do your own housekeeping and gardening? What form of communication do you prefer? Phone? Email? Is there another family member involved in the decision? Would you like to know more about the financial options available? Do you currently have a reverse mortgage? Will the move impact long-term health care coverage? In the case of an estate, has the estate been probated? Jim Harris, REALTOR®, SRES®, SFR, MRP. 806-777-7483.
